A local Leeds-based gastropub were so pleased with the interiors images I provided them with, they had me back to shoot some cocktails and food. Whilst this isn’t my usual area of speciality, being close friends with the bar manager we were able to collaborate in a relaxed way and as a result produced some beautiful results.
We wanted to reinforce their brand identity - rustic and creative. With the menu contained a number of new spins on classic dishes and cocktails. We went for an intentionally messy look with solid wood backgrounds and their classic almost fine dining presentation of the food. The dessert was good fun to photograph, we came up with the idea that we should take each individual ingredient and almost throw it across the table! I think this turned out pretty great in the end.

A client had requested we complete a shoot with more of a lifestyle focus than the usual almost-empty kitchens we photograph. Therefore for this project, we hired a group of fantastic models to help sell the idea. The subject was a beautiful traditionally designed shaker kitchen with blue cabinets and bespoke furniture.
