I shot at Liverpool Women’s Hospital for an architecture client. This included a brand new ward interior along with an ambulance drop off bay.
As always with shoots like this, this involved some collaboration and coordination with the NHS, with the ward being in use. This required some planning and patience on my part to ensure I wasn’t interfering with both patients privacy and the full function of the ward.
This did also come with its upsides, the ward was lively which meant lots of subjects moving through the frame, which added interest, motion and context to the images.
The drop off bay was completed and outdoors so was a little more straight forward to photograph, choosing times of day where the light would suit the composition. Check out the images from the project below.

A client had requested we complete a shoot with more of a lifestyle focus than the usual almost-empty kitchens we photograph. Therefore for this project, we hired a group of fantastic models to help sell the idea. The subject was a beautiful traditionally designed shaker kitchen with blue cabinets and bespoke furniture.
