One of my all time favourite kitchens to work in, this cozy old farm house located on the edge the The Lake District had bags of character and charm, whilst the blue cabinets and modern appliances made it feel up to date and contemporary. The all-bespoke kitchen had some fantastic built in shelving and storage, and custom moulding, finished beautifully around the hob/extractor.
I particularly loved the use of wood in this project, with hardwood worktops, knobs and shelving. Exposed beams in the ceiling just made this a dream to compose, creating a fantastic frame around each shot. The original stone flooring was the cherry on the cake.

A client had requested we complete a shoot with more of a lifestyle focus than the usual almost-empty kitchens we photograph. Therefore for this project, we hired a group of fantastic models to help sell the idea. The subject was a beautiful traditionally designed shaker kitchen with blue cabinets and bespoke furniture.
